More than 4 meters long saltwater crocodile arrived at Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum

Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum obtained a new exhibit – more than 4 meters long Saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). The saltwater crocodile is the largest living reptile and crocodilian known today. Males grow to a length of up to 6 m, rarely exceeding 6.3 m or weight of 1,000–1,300 kg. Females are much smaller and rarely surpass 3 m.

Gediminas Vaitiekūnas offered to temporarily exhibit it at the Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum.
