Rare albino roe deer2021 05 24
Roe deer albino supplemented the exposition of Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum. Ernestas Filinskas donated the zoological material to Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum. The roe deer were brought from the Kėdainiai district.
Albinism is a condition in which an animal, plant, or human is born without any pigmentation or colouration, resulting in white fur, feathers, scales, and skin, as well as pink eyes in mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish, as well as invertebrates. The probability of an animal being albino is 1 in 20,000.
