Laboratory of Biological Analysis
The main aims of the Laboratory of Biological Analysis are to gather morphological and other data and to make a detailed biological analysis of all received vertebrate animals. All information about living organisms is encoded in cells; therefore, the collection of wild animal tissues for genetic research was initiated about ten years ago. At present, the tissue collection comprises about 1,300 specimens of mammal and bird tissue.
