Albino deer were added to the exposition of Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Museum of Zoology. Ernestas Filinskas donated the zoological material to Kaunas Tadas Ivanauskas Museum of Zoology. The deer were brought from the Kėdainiai district.
Albinism is a condition in which an animal, plant, or human is born without any pigmentation or colouration, resulting in white fur, feathers, scales, and skin, as well as pink eyes in mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish, as well as invertebrates. The probability of an animal being albino is 1 in 20,000.
